He is officially dedicating himself to a full-time football career, bypassing the opportunity, at least for now, to play professional baseball.

Quarterback Kyler Murray #1 of the Oklahoma Sooners warms up before the game against the Kansas State Wildcats at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on October 27, 2018 in Norman, Oklahoma.

Some seem to view Murray as too small or a classic third-rounder, but Kingsbury has made it clear he'd go all-out to pop him on his roster.

Murray, a top-10 pick in the Major League Baseball draft by the Oakland Athletics, lit the college football world on fire in 2018 on his way to winning the Heisman Trophy.

In their latest mock draft, the team at CBS Sports believes the Miami Dolphins could select Murray with the thirteenth overall pick in the National Football League draft.

The A's will place him on the restricted list and retain his rights, but they won't get a compensation draft pick, ESPN added.

New Magic Teammates Ecstatic to Have Fultz Aboard
The Markelle Fultz era in Philadelphia has come to an end. "Those are the kinds of guys who dominate games these days". After a hard rookie season, he's been sidelined since mid-November with a nerve condition in his shoulder and neck.

Giants join Bryce Harper sweepstakes, which grow stranger by the day
If Klentak can sign Harper, betting on the Phillies to win the National League would be like betting on the sun to come up. Harper was the National League MVP in 2015, National League Rookie of the Year in 2012 and is a six time all-star.

Crown Prince Did Not Order Khashoggi Murder, Says Saudi Minister

There's officially a big-time quarterback available for National Football League teams to consider.

For now, it appears his dream of playing in the majors is on hold, if not over. "To say somebody could or couldn't, I'm not here to say that". Murray will return $1.29 million of the $1.5 million signing bonus money the A's gave him past year, a source told ESPN's Jeff Passan. He was expected to received other $3.16 million of his bonus March 1, but obviously now forfeits that.

Murray now must give back or forfeit most of the $4.66 million signing bonus the A's gave him a year ago.

Murray showed off his skills taking batting practice at the Coliseum in an A's uniform back in June, greeted by "WELCOME TO OAKLAND" on the big scoreboard with his photo. The 21-year-old could be a first-round pick in the NFL draft in April, which would make him the first athlete selected in the first round of the MLB and NFL drafts, according to the NFL's research department.

Minnesota's 18th overall pick could prove pretty valuable if Murray falls in the first round.
