According to ABC News, Jayme was kidnapped after her parents were found murdered in their Wisconsin home in October. A suspect in the case has also been taken into custody.

Authorities say they have a suspect in custody and planned to release more information Friday.

Barron Mayor Ron Fladten said he hadn't heard any details about Jayme's discovery but was overjoyed at learning she is alive.

'We want to thank the Douglas Co Sheriff's Department and agencies assisting them tonight.

Officials with the Douglas County Sheriff's Department posted a note on its website saying Jayme was "located" in the Town of Gordon at 4:43 p.m. Thursday, and a suspect was apprehended in the town about 10 minutes later.

"We promised to bring Jayme home and tonight we get to fulfil that promise", Mr Fitzgerald said in a statement, thanking the community. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!'

Knifeman stabs 20 children in attack at Chinese primary school
A 49-year-old man has injured 20 children with a hammer inside a primary school in China's capital, officials say. Local police said that three of the students were seriously injured but were not in life-threatening condition.

Closs disappeared on October 15, 2018, the same day her parents - James, 56, and Denise, 46 - were found shot to death inside their Barron home.

KTSP also reports that Assistant Police Chief Kevin Magno of the Franklin Police Department said the law enforcement presence had nothing to do with Closs. Local investigators were aided by the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Jayme was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but her condition was not immediately clear, with the sheriff asking the media and public to respect the family's privacy. Police arrived to find the door kicked in, but Jayme was nowhere to be found, and investigators believe she was abducted and may be in danger. She asks people to continue to pray for "Jayme's well-being and our families healing".

Jayme's story was helped by The Voice contestant Chris Kroeze, who dedicated his performances to her on his run to the finale of the singing competition.

Sheriff Fitzgerald was planning a news conference next week to mark 90 days since her abduction.

Deputies were called to the Closs house in October to find the bodies of James, 56, and wife Denise, 46.
