Red Dead Online Is Now Live, But Errors Are Common

Red Dead Online will be available tomorrow, November 27th at 8:30 EST, to those who purchased the $100 Red Dead Redemption II Ultimate Edition of the game.

Players can explore the world solo or with friends by forming or joining a Posse.

Red Dead Online will feature an open world and include numerous same aspects of the single player game, including animals, support for hunting, fishing, treasuring hunting, posses, camps and different competitive modes.

The initial days of the Red Dead Online beta are a stress test, and Rockstar is introducing players gradually up until Friday, where Red Dead Online will be available to all players. Will you be trying out the online mode this week?

Where Grand Theft Auto V introduced a persistent multiplayer environment filled with the joys of microtransactions, Red Dead Redemption 2 is walking the same path - but those looking to saddle up may have to wait until the end of the week to do so.

Wednesday, November 28th: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26th according to our data. Form or join a Posse to ride with up to seven players; gather around the fire at your Camp; head out hunting or fishing; visit bustling towns; battle enemy gangs and attack their hideouts; hunt for treasure; take on missions. On Thursday, anyone who played between October 26th and 29th will be invited. One of the new modes includes a battle royale - without guns.

Make It Count sees 32 players duking it out with limited weapons in the midst of a shrinking circle. Red Dead's weapons might not have made for the slickest gunplay in comparison to its battle royale competitors, so leaning into something more low-tech could prove an effective twist on the formula.
