Nets' LeVert Sustains Apparent Severe Right Leg Injury

In the finals seconds of the first half, LeVert jumped up for a block but landed awkwardly and fell to the floor in pain.

After being attended to for a few minutes, LeVert was taken off the court.

LeVert was taken immediately to a local hospital for further evaluation.

LeVert entered the game as the Nets' leading scorer with 19 points per game.

The looks on the faces of his teammates gave the appearance they knew LeVert suffered a serious injury. The 24-year-old is 6'10 so that's a lot of person coming down on it. "We didn't talk even when we came in at halftime".

This is encouraging news for the Nets and many fans who were anxious to see the young wing flourish.

With the worst outcome averted for Caris LeVert, that fact alone should give the Brooklyn Nets a boost.
