Packers' Matthews speaks on roughing the passer calls

For the second straight week, linebacker Clay Matthews took a roughing the passer penalty on a play that otherwise would've ended the game in the Packers' favor. It's a hard call to call. "But at the same time, I don't know what else to do". You let me know.

"Tell me: Did I put pressure on him?" I got my head across, put my hands down. To call it at that point in the game is unbelievable. "I'm exhausted and I don't know what to feel after a tie", Cousins said. But this week? That's unbelievable. "Obviously, Auburn's got a big game in LSU this weekend, so you know, there's always those big games in college, but it's a little different in the pros where each week there's a good team you're playing against".

"You see how it changed the game", Matthews said. But at the same time, I don't know what else to do.

Following an impressive drive from Kirk Cousins, Minnesota had the chance to improve to 2-0, as the fate of the game relied on the right foot of Daniel Carlson.

Rodgers had been a doubt for the clash all week after suffering a knee injury in the come from behind win over Chicago Bears in NFL Week 1. But frustrating to allow a call - when I felt like I did the right thing - it influenced the game.

Referee Tony Corrente explained after the game officials believed Matthews picked up Cousins and drove him into the ground.

"It has nothing to do with the rule of full body weight", Corrente told ESPN. "It has nothing to do with helmet to helmet".

FBN’s Charlie Gasparino Torches Trump Over False GDP Claim: ‘Utter Bull Sh
Gasparino was writing in response to a tweet from Wall Street Journal columnist Kimberley Strassel . The overall USA economy grew at a 4.2% annual rate in the second quarter.

"The guy lined up on the outside and he twisted inside and he grabbed our center and pulled him to the ground, which you're not supposed to do", Zimmer said. He then hit Diggs for a 2-point conversion to tie the score 29-29 and force overtime. Minnesota was assessed eight penalties for 70 yards and Green Bay had seven for 54 yards.

Crosby nearly had six field goals, but his first, successful attempt from 52 at the end of the regulation was erased because the Vikings called timeout right before the snap.

That was his second missed field goal in overtime and third on the day.

The Kendricks call resulted in this tweet from Mike Pereira, who was once in charge of officiating for the National Football League and is now a rules expert on Fox. "It's better than a loss", Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said.

Rodgers didn't miss the game this time, but he was limited due to a knee injury. "I thought he had the ball still".

"We fought hard. Some plays went out way, some didn't". They're gonna say, you know. "I thought he made some outstanding throws, made good decisions".
