Maurizio Sarri set to make final decision on Wilfried Zaha move

Chelsea are in pole position to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace before the transfer window closes.

A switch to Everton fell through earlier in the summer when Zaha decided he wanted to remain in London.

Zaha could have been seen as a direct replacement for Willian, the Brazil global has been heavily linked with a departure from Chelsea this summer.

But Mauricio Pochettino is now eyeing a move for Zaha, who is playing some of the best football of his career at the moment at Selhurst Park.

Palace had offered the Ivorian global a new £125,000-a-week deal in a desperate attempt to keep hold of their Player of the Year, but it seems the bright lights of Stamford Bridge are too appealing for the 25-year-old.

Instead, he is eager for a big-money move to Chelsea, with Maurizio Sarri potentially in the market for a marauding frontman should Willian leave.

Bones given by North Korea 'may not even be American'
But many experts say those are neither irrevocable nor serious steps that could show the country is honest about denuclearization. The evidence obtained this month is the latest to suggest ongoing activity in North Korea's nuclear and missile facilities.

Should Chelsea land the Ivorian's signature, he would become their third signing of the window after Jorginho and Rob Green joined the club.

But, Chelsea are hopeful of finally landing the 25-year-old with an improved offer worth £45 million, plus £15 million in add-ons and a massive sell-on fee.

The race to sign Zaha is getting increasingly unpredictable.

Zaha has been linked with a move to Chelsea but Palace are unwilling to let their star man goes.

Palace will not sell the Ivory Coast global unless they are offered a huge sum to sell him for a second time in his career. An interesting next few days beckon.
