Missing from Radio City Music Hall was Whitney Port, who hinted at her own involvement with a tweet teasing the unveiling: 'Everything MIGHT happen tonight at the #VMAs!' Cardi said she's been blessed with fans "that you can't buy", looking into the camera and shouting an expletive.

Lopez ended her speech, thanking her fans who have "touched" her "heart" and "soul" and have become apart of her. "Anybody who knows me knows that and you guys have won me over forever". We're like mirror images of each other. "There's so much more to do, to experience, and there's no one id rather do it with baby, you're my macho and I love you".

Once the "Dinero" singer accepted her Video Vanguard Award, Rodriguez - who had Lopez's son, Max, on his lap - sweetly looked at her and even blushed when she gave him a shout out.
