Closures: No word on when the Trader Joe's store #17 will reopen.

Authorities said the suspect's grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Madison, was in stable condition at the hospital and the other woman he shot only suffered a graze wound to her head. The suspect remained inside the Trader Joe's for about three hours before surrendering to police late Saturday.

Firefighters say the woman who was in the auto with the suspect has been hospitalized.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti tweeted about the incident, telling people "to steer clear" of the store.

Trader Joe's said in a statement that the incident "has been an incredible trauma".
