Liverpool make huge bid for Alisson

With Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius having struggled to convince between the posts for the Reds, Jurgen Klopp has been heavily linked with a number of alternatives.

Liverpool have reportedly made a bid in excess of £60 million for Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

Ze Maria Neis' own Instagram page is littered of pictures of himself with Alisson, while he is followed by the Brazilian's verified account.

Several British newspapers reported on Tuesday that the Reds had made an offer but that the Serie A outfit wanted 75m euros (£66.5m).

Monchi, the Director of Sport at the Italian outfit, said recently that Roma don't need to sell to balance the books but such a big offer, a world receord fee for a goalkeeper, would be a windfall which any club would find hard to resist.
