With LeBron James finally confirmed to join the Los Angeles Lakers, it would be easy to accuse him of having "gone Hollywood". He won't be a primary playmaker like James, Rondo or Ball, but as a change-of-pace option off the bench he'll also be able to relieve LeBron for small stretches.

That process could still reportedly include the addition of Kawhi Leonard this year via a trade or next offseason when he becomes a free agent. They pulled off the surprise of the summer: a one-year, $5.3 million bargain deal with free agent DeMarcus Cousins.

Because whether or not Lonzo is on the team or not, LeBron is most likely going to take the Lakers to the Western Conference Finals.

But, what would potential packages look like? After being in the National Basketball Association for 15 years, this will be the first time James will play for a Western Conference team.

LeBron James' latest team is the Los Angeles Lakers, which gives it an edge that will be crucial in deciding how the Lakers fanbase rejoices in the coming games.

He had some positive things to say about Walton's coaching ability, and cited his experience with the Golden State Warriors, where Walton served as an assistant and interim head coach from 2014-2016. Neither can shoot all that well and both require the ball to be effective, which goes against the qualities the typical role player next to LeBron has had over the years. This is especially true considering that James agreed to a multi-year deal, which is something he was not willing to do with Dan Gilbert and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Nevertheless, the landscape has shifted drastically with LeBron to LA as the top three spots in the West next season are virtually locked up before a game has even been played with Golden State, Houston and now Los Angeles as the conference's premier powers.

The game's biggest star will now lead a young Lakers team - run by Lakers Hall of Famer Magic Johnson - that has been over-matched in recent years while rebuilding.

"Lonzo's gonna get along with anybody he plays with". They are known to be a strong team that can work well under pressure.

"I would like to see a revival of the Celtic-Lakers rivalry because that's probably the best rivalry in basketball", Angara said, noting that James's presence would boost the Lakers' chances of reaching the playoffs.

From George Mikan to Kobe Bryant, superstars have been the Lakers' lifeblood for decades.

"LeBron, you came home and delivered the ultimate goal", Gilbert said in a statement.
