Samsung Galaxy J6 with Infinity Display to launch on May 21, sale from May 22
Samsung to launch Galaxy J6 in India on 21 May with a near bezel-less Infinity Display

The images accessed by the folks over at The Mobile Indian clearly reveal the maximum retail price (MRP) of both the upcoming Galaxy smartphones.

The tweet reads "The Samsung #GalaxyJ6 is coming soon with state-of-the-art design and features that will make your life truly infinite". While the resolution hasn't been confirmed, it is rumored that the Galaxy J6 could feature a 5.6-inch 720 x 1480 HD+ resolution AMOLED display. "It's coming to take you #ToInfinityAndMore". While Galaxy A-series smartphones with Infinity Displays are already on sale, the Galaxy J6 will be Samsung's first budget smartphone to feature a "bezel-less" display. The main attraction of Galaxy J6 (2018) is the integration of Infinity Display coupled with thin bezels and 18:9 aspect ratio. Based on the photo shared, the Galaxy J6 will not have any side bezels, though it will continue to have the top and bottom bezel. Galaxy J6 will have a 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM options, along with 32GB and 64GB storage, which will be expandable. If this is the case with these two, one could easily expect it the Galaxy J6 to be priced somewhat around Rs 12,990 and the Galaxy A6+ could be priced between Rs 25,000 to Rs 27,000. It will be powered by an Exynos 7570 (with a quad-core processor) with 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM and will get 16/32 GB of storage. Talking about the cameras, the Galaxy A6 sports a 16MP autofocus rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 16MP fixed focus front camera with f/1.9 aperture. It will be a dual-SIM phone with a decent 3,000 mAh battery and measure 8.1 mm thick. Elsewhere, Samsung's J-series has also been the harbinger of extra features developed by Samsung at its R&D centers in India - like the S-bike mode for instance - and chances are the Galaxy J6 may bring something new in this regard.
