Joe Gomez will miss Liverpool's Champions League final against Real Madrid and the World Cup with England after undergoing ankle surgery.

In March, Gomez sustained an ankle injury during England's friendly with the Netherlands and it led to the 20-year-old missing a month of action.

Liverpool star Emre Can is reportedly losing his fight to be fit for the final of the 2017/18 Champions League where his side will face Real Madrid in Ukraine.
