Arsene Wenger 'Surprised' At Job Offers As He Prepares For Arsenal Farewell

When asked in his Tuesday news conference if he had received offers, Wenger told reporters: "Yes, quite more than I expected".

The Emirates club are searching for a new manager as Arsene Wenger's 22-year spell at the club draws to a close.

Ozil has featured in 26 of Arsenal's 36 Premier League games this season, but there has been scrutiny over some of the games he has missed. For sure I will be active, my brain demands work.

As for who follows in Arsene's footsteps, the bookmakers have installed Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri and former Barcelona gaffer Luis Enrique as favourites to be his replacement.

He wrote on Twitter that it was a "pity" he missed Sunday's match due to the injury.
